I finally brought myself to see the new star wars movie

I don't even know where to begin

Spoilers!!

This movie was mostly flawed and I didn't care for the sub story with Finn and the criminal guy and etc and so on ....

Only part that stood out as interesting to me was Luke's final moment ... then he just dies of exhaustion ... kind of how I feel about the star Wars Franchise right now.

I didn't think it was great but I didn't think it was all that bad.

He thought about it, because he saw the death and destruction Ben would wreak across the universe, and then he stopped himself.

I thought it was good for what it was, a midway film that serves as a bridge between the first and last parts of the trilogy. It had it's flaws but eh, I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Hey, welcome aboard! We're pretty much in agreement. I wasn't overjoyed with it but I wasn't offended by it either.

It ruined everything

Even the original triolgy

Watchign the orighinal trilogy to it's conclusion made you feel happy - everything ended well

But no - we get to see Elderly Solo die - Luke become a miserable milk drinking asshole and die

And the fucking Empire vs Rebillion shit never ends either - making everything pointless, tiresome and redundant

Watching the original trilogy to know their ultimate fate makes the whole thing dismal.

Everything was wrong with that movie.

It's like the original trilogy was your good friend and you ended on a high note, good times, moved away

You see your friend again 30 years later and want to recapture the good times … oh wait he's on cocaine and ripping the copper pipes out of his house … nobody wants to see that
