Mark Hamill had the one good La La Land joke, and people laughed at that...The rest was unbearable...I wonder when they do the In Memoriam thing...Lots of great performers/directors passed in the past year...I'm always interested in who they unintentionally forgot to remember...If it's handled right, it does get a bit emotional...

I tend to be surprised by some of the names that I didn't know had died and by some of the names that I did know had died and that they leave off.

I don't mind it. Not sure about the other nominees but the only other one I'm super interested in is the Three Billboards movie...I love that writer...But it's nice to see a movie nominated in a genre that oftentimes isn't recognized by the Academy...

About damn time Deakins won an Oscar. He always did great work with the Coen Brothers and there were many other times he probably should've won...While I had my issues with the new Blade Runner, the cinematography was awesome...
